Shortcuts - Tips for those at a Low Level

Submitted by knuckles_sonic8

Here's a list of some tricks/shortcuts you can use in Sand Oasis, Mission 1 that will be especially helpful to those who are at a low level/have yet to unlock certain skills for really good times.

1. Perform a jump once you reach the point near the start where the light shines brightly as you traverse up the path as you are about to travel down the building.
2. Grind on the rails on the platforms after the Speed Booster leading form the main/starting area. Hold the 2 Button to gain speed after tapping it to hop on, then let go once you reach the next set of boosters. Continue this along the three platforms that use this technique.
3. Once you reach the water area after the building, if you will, stay on the right side of the path and grind on the rails (somewhat) in the water/above the sand. Try to transfer from this rail to the next two up ahead to avoid spikes and the falling pillars.
4. Avoid the flying pot entirely. Stay on the left path and grind on the rail (hold the 2 Button down to gain speed) and shoot off into the Dash Pads that'll send you up the building.
5. After landing from the building, platforms with gaps in them will appear before you. Perform a short jump once you reach the edge of them by tapping the 2 Button then perform a Jump Dash to avoid the gap. (A Splash Jump may work as well if you have that skill)
6. Upon reaching the "pier", although it's tempting, don't head on the rails. You risk falling off the edge as the rail transfer mechanism here is off (happened to me when I was going for a Score run.. I got quite upset..). If you're up for the risk, take the right rail, hop on it by tapping the 2 Button, hold the 2 Button until you reach the end of it and continue along the final path to the goal (avoid the enemies if possible).
